WHY MARIE IS STANDING WITH TEAM JOE
"I want to be part of a team that listens to our members and puts Local 290 first.”
Marie comes from a strong union family and believes Local 290 is strongest when members feel heard, respected, and welcome to ask questions, share their opinions, and get involved. She chose to stand with Team Joe because she wants to help reduce the gap between the membership and its leadership, improve transparency, and keep the focus on the goals and needs of Local 290. She also wants to improve benefits administration, lead with facts, clarify questions, and keep the focus on the goals of Local 290 rather than internal conflicts.
A Local 290 where members feel heard, respected, and represented.
